There are a few children who are not completing their Mathletics every week. This is a part of your homework and it needs to be completed. If there is a problem with your computer at home then see Mr Goddard and you can go to Mathletics club on a Wednesday lunchtime.

ReplyDeleteSapphire Stones was the most beautiful girl in her class.All year round,she was called all sorts of names like Tiny,mini and midget.Because she wasn't just beautiful she was also smallest in the class.Today she didn't even care because she had something in her pocket that was not allowed.She had snuck it into her bag that morning.She waited patiently for the break-time.As the bell rang she leaped into the air and raced of. “No running” the teacher called as she ran through the door.
She ran all the way to the old play shed and panting she slammed the door.She cautiously looked around and when she didn't see anyone she sighed.She reached for the buckle of her bag and fumbled with the hook.A minute later, she was holding a huge rather sticky pack of wine gums.Her fingers inside reaching for a big, juicy, delicious lemonade wine gum.As she popped it in her mouth the door started to creak open.It grew louder. She closed her eyes. She panicked, Wouldn’t you?
Slowly, the door opened and Sapphire peeped though her fingers.It was. . . RUBY RED!!!. Astonished, she fell over and landed with a bump. Sapphire tried to hide but,Ruby had spotted her. “I thought this was private” Sapphire murmured to herself. As Sapphire stepped out, Ruby frowned. The girls eyed each other. They had never been friends. There was silence. Suddenly, “What were you doing in here??”Ruby questioned. “Nothing”Sapphire replied softly. Ruby raised an eyebrow. Sapphire could see Ruby wasn't fooled. “Really?”she asked suspiciously. “Yes” Sapphire said in her best voice. “Then, how do you explain that?”Ruby asked pointing to the packet of wine gums. “Busted” Sapphire whispered to herself.Just then, a dark shadow loomed over the open play house door. Sapphire got a brilliant idea. “Do you want some?”Sapphire asked Ruby. “Really?”Ruby asked. “Yes, really! In fact,you can have the whole packet. “Ok” Ruby answered. Just when, Ruby had the packet Mrs. Violet walked in. “Is that you, Ruby?” Mrs. Violet asked.Later,Ruby was in BIG Trouble!!!!
