    Dear David Cameron,

David Cameron I am wirting to you for three reasons. Firstly, I am learning about Downing Street . Secondly my class is named after Downing Street . Finally, I wanted to wirte a formal letter to someone , so I selected you.
I also want to learn more because I only know some information which is that it has a gate with police to guard it. Before you owned it someone called Mr Chicken had owned it.Why are there gates at both ends of the road ?insted of puting them in front of your house? Why do you want to be Prime Minister?

    yours sincerely

  4. Ancient Greek was the language spoken by the people of Ancient Greek from the 9th to 4th century B.C. Ancient Greek and Latin are the most important ancient language ( languages witch are no longer spoken ) for speakers of English today. This is because a large number of English words come from Greek and Latin.

The Greek language had many different dialects, but the ''Attic Greek'' witch was spoken by the people of Athens is thought to be the purest of the forms.

  5. Downing Street is a street in London, close to Whitehall and Buckingham Palace. The official residences of the two most senior Government ministers are here. These are the Prime Minister, and the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Downing Street is a few minutes walk' from the Houses of Parliament. the street was built in the 1680's by Sir George Downing, 1st baronet (1632-1689) on the site of a mansion called Hampden House. The Prime Minister, the chancellor of the Exchequer, and the Chief Whip all have official residences in buildings along one side of the street. The houses on the other side were all replaced by the Foreign Office in the nineteenth century.
