Voices in the Park
This week we have been reading Voices in the Park by Anthony Browne. We have been looking at the different perspectives of four different characters and their experiences at the park.

Charlie went in the park and stood still.And then Smudge came along and started being best friends but then the clouds turn into cloudy and that means he's happy then he went on the slide and Smudge told him how fast she goes on the slide.
ReplyDeleteAnd that makes Charlie very happy after Smudge told Charlie to go on the climbing frame.Smudge was swinging side to side but Charlie wasn't because he was to scared and struggling to much because he thinks he's going to fall.

My character is the mum because she has an unhappy personality. Also she dresses very posh and she is to overprotective to her sun Charles. If the mum was real, I would not be friends with her because she is to bossy and posh. And I think this person is too mean, bossy and posh to be a happy person.

Smudge is my character because she always has a smile on her face and good stuff come bursting out of her because she's always so happy I would actually be her friend in real life because she's been to the park and tries to use and learn to use the furniture witch links to carlie's and smudge's friendship about helping each other spend their time on learning to do things smudge is good at doing stuff but sad news Charlie is the opposite this is a bit rude but Charlie is dull and it doesn't get a nice weather when thier's charlie smudge is the opposite mabie some time Charlie will be like smudge. Smudge also dresses really cool. Smudge is always happy. By Arya

My character is Smude. I chose her because she is enthusiastic, positive, and happy. She had a very good day at the park with Charles. She dresses smartly and wears girly clothes with pretty designs. I would like to be Smude’s friends because she would cheer me up when I’m feeling sad and I think that she would be nice to play with. I think that she is a very happy person because she is not bossy, she is very positive and cheerful

My character is Smudge because she is always happy,cheerful and so delighted!!! She cheers Charles up a lot as the beggining where Charles was standing it was dark where as where Smudge was standing it was light. later on Charles side got happier ( brighter.) Soon time by time the sky got brighter and brighter. Next, fully blue when suddenly sombody came and spoiled their fun... M...U...M... !!!

My charactar is the dad because he is my favrioute between all of them. The dads personality is good because he lets his kids do what they want. The dad dreeses really ruff. I would be frendis with him because he is a nice person. I don't think he is happy because he dosnt have that much money

Charles is very lonely and sad person.His mum is over-protective and badly treated him to not to play with anyone.He wear a yellow jacket and he is very sad that in his side, there is a very grey cloud and boring old dog with there owner taking them for a walk.But on the other side,there was a bright sunny day and lot of fun thing to play.Charles's happienes was get higher until then,Charles's mother broke his level for saying to go home very quickly.
ReplyDeleteCharles is very lonely boy, his mum was overprotective. Actually I feel quite sad for poor Charles because his mum is very judgemental. Charles is always smartly dressed and looks very professional.
ReplyDeleteIn real if I was Charles friend I will make him happy and comfortable, but it would be better if Charles was a girl!! I would also prefer Charles to be a human other than any animal.

Smudge has a very talkative, friendly, funny and happy personality. She wears a red jacket with a star on the back, trainers, jeans and a t-shirt. Smudge is quite small, has short hair and a smiley face. I would like to be friends with her because she is kind and chatty. I think she is a happy person because she makes Charles's day turn from bad to good.

ReplyDeleteCharles has huge,dark eyes.His nose is small but his smile is big and very nice.Charles's ears are tremendous.He is bold.Charles is a monkey so then his body looks similar as a human body.his armes and legs are short.Probaby,I think he is seven or eight years old.He wears a blue jumper and light gray trousers.
I would be friends with him because he has an interesting personality.Charles likes fun,exciting adventures.I love his possitive attatude to life and to everyone.He respects every monkey,so that I think Charles is very inteligent.Also,my character of the book is incredibly smart because he always knows how to avoid trouble.
i would like to be charles'friend.Smudge,she is a happy person .I think she is happy to be with.Charles really enjoyed climbing with her.I dont like the mum in the story .She is so serious and bossy.I like the dress of smudge and the coat.She is a very happy person.

I like smudge because she is very happy and she is enjoying the weather because on her side it is hot and Charles is not happy because it looks like if he is left out.She has a pony tale on her he'd and she is wearing armed dress.Charles is wearing a yellow and he has no pony tale on his head.I would love to be friend of smudge because she is very friendly and kind.I do think that she is very happy person as she enjoys the sunshine and she love the dogs running around.

The character I have chosen to write about is Charles' mum. She is dominant, commanding, unsociable and boring. She is miserable and dislikes people who are not well dressed like herself. She is controlling and rude and watches over Charles as he plays with Smudge, which she is not very happy about.
ReplyDeleteCharles' mum is smart, clean, well dressed, has good posture and is well spoken.
I don't think I would be friends with Charles' mum in real life because I would be frightened of her as she appears to be very strict.
I think Charles' mum is miserable but she may be happy with people who are well off like her.
